Emily Sandow, L.V.T

Emily started in veterinary medicine as a high school co-op and in 2009 graduated from St. Petersburg College obtaining her license in veterinary technology. She has worked with Dr. Shuff for 10 years and has a special interest in ensuring patient safety during surgical procedures. Emily works at North M-18 Veterinary Clinic, our sister clinic, and East River. At home Emily keeps a small hobby farm with her husband and children. 

Cassondra Verellen, L.V.T

Cassondra has been in the veterinary field since 2012. In the summer of 2011, she graduated from Baker College of Flint earning her associates degree in veterinary technology. Cassondra has continued her education through attendance of various seminars and online courses. She loves to educate clients about the best care for their pet and to explain the reasons why we make the recommendations that we do. She is the proud owner of two dogs named; Sissy and Harley and two cats named; Blaze and Domino. In her spare time, Cassondra enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with family and friends. 

Kara Chambers, Receptionist/Assistant

Kara has been in the veterinary field since June of 2009. She started off as a kennel assistant but then wanted to know every aspect of a veterinary hospital and was trained in surgical assisting, room assisting, and as a receptionist. Kara enjoys educating clients on what is important for their pets health. She has been to many veterinary conferences to better her education and stay as current as she can with changes in the veterinary field. Kara has a small "farm" of her own including ducks, chickens, dogs and cats. In her spare time; Kara enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and going to the movies.
